Kehoe’s project will use a handheld, portable blood gas machine to measure levels of various gases found in blood. This machine opens up a multitude of research opportunities on calf health.

Kehoe is a professor of dairy science and an assistant chair of the department at UW–River Falls. She teaches courses on lactation and milk quality as well as animal welfare.
