Developing capacity for chromatography techniques at the College of Agriculture, Food and Environmental Sciences, UW–River Falls

Hassanpour is an assistant professor in plant and earth science at UW–River Falls. Her research interests include remediation of non-point source pollution, water quality, nutrient cycling, and the fate and transport of contaminants. Her position is funded by the Dairy Innovation Hub.

Hassanpour’s project aims to enhance the capacity for chemical analysis in UW–River Fall’s College of Agriculture, Food and Environmental Sciences by acquiring two chromatography systems, a gas chromatograph and a high-performance liquid chromatograph.
