Refrigerated centrifuge for feed, manure and tissue sample processing and assays
PI: Jim Hampton

Hampton is professor and program coordinator of animal and dairy science at UW–Platteville. His research interests include ovarian follicular development and endocrinology of the bovine estrous cycle.
Hampton’s project will use a new bench-top, refrigerated centrifuge for processing blood samples for analysis, feed and manure samples for nutrient analysis, and tissue samples for metabolite, DNA, and mRNA analysis. This will support current and future work at UW–Platteville.
