Increasing research capacity in energy partitioning and feed efficiency

Ferraretto is an assistant professor of animal and dairy sciences and extension specialist at UW–Madison. His research and extension interests are applied ruminant nutrition and management.
Ferraretto’s project will utilize new walk-over scales and individual intake feeders for research related to feed efficiency and energy partitioning. The determination of body weight is instrumental for feed efficiency, energy partitioning and nutritional intervention studies.
