A multipurpose measurement system to assess the environmental sustainability and productivity of dairy farms

    Funding Year:
    Campus:

Wiesner’s project will utilize a LI-6800 Portable Photosynthesis System to understanding the environmental sustainability of diverse dairy agroecosystems. Furthermore, data collected using this instrument can be used to inform other DIH priority areas by linking forage and landscape traits to milk production, animal health and human nutrition. The LI-6800 Portable Photosynthesis System will be a shared resource between UW–Madison and UW–River Falls.

    PI: Susanne Wiesner
