Sumner Davis’s project will purchase a large, refrigerated, high-speed centrifuge to support Hub research activities for CAFES at UW–River Falls. Having a functional centrifuge is critical infrastructure to support future Hub-related priorities that would involve water quality, soil chemical analysis, nutrient cycling, DNA extraction, and fertility, in addition to cell collection.
