Stoy is an associate professor of biological systems engineering at UW–Madison. His research interests include surface-atmosphere exchange, ecosystem ecology, and natural resource management.
Stoy’s project aims to improve existing greenhouse gas measurement capabilities across the UW System by acquiring a GasMet GT5000 Terra, a portable gas analyzer. It will be a shared resource between UW–Madison, UW–River Falls, and UW–Platteville.
