Justen is a professor of crop science at UW–River Falls. Her interests include plant breeding, field crop production, and enhancing diversified crop rotations with cover crops and hardy winter small grains.
Justen’s project aims to enhance Mann Valley Farm’s capacity to conduct robust field trials and collect high–quality data across a wide range of treatment environments by acquiring an updated row crop planter, precision agriculture modifications, and global position system (GPS).
