Maria Woldt was recently hired as the program manager for the Dairy Innovation Hub. In this role, she will be assisting Faculty Director Heather White in the management of the Hub budget, developing and disseminating communications, and organizing and executing events. Woldt will also be coordinating activities between Hub collaborators at UW–Madison, UW-Platteville and UW-River Falls.
After graduating with a bachelor’s degree from UW-River Falls, Woldt obtained a master’s degree in Life Sciences Communication from UW–Madison. She currently works for the Dairy Business Association and owns and operates a dairy farm in Dane County.
Woldt will assume the role of program manager on February 10 and will have an office in the UW–Madison Animal Science Building.
